Meet Dr. Jen Aliment
Chiropractic Helped My Asthma
When I was young, I suffered badly from asthma. I was on four inhalers and steroids for my lungs for two long years. I always wanted to be athletic but I had problems breathing. My sister started working at a chiropractor’s office who said he had helped kids with asthma. Within six months of seeing him, I was off all medications!
Seeing Successful Natural Healing
I went on to be a competitive gymnast, continuing with chiropractic care to help with my athletic performance. At age 16, I started working for that same chiropractor. I saw how many people and conditions chiropractic helped. Seeing chiropractic’s success with others and my personal experience with it made me know I wanted to be a chiropractor.
Learning to Help Others
Dr. Jen attended Life University in Marietta, GA to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic. She learned many techniques and met a lot of wonderful people, but the real highlight of her education there was meeting her husband, Dr. Chris!
I’ve worked in a hospital, ER, pharmacy and physical therapy office. Less intervention and people learning how to live a healthy lifestyle are what keep us from being sick. Teaching people how to take control of their health will empower them.
Certifications for All Ages
Dr. Jen has further training that helps her to treat a range of patients. The Webster technique she is certified in allows her to adjust pregnant women. Dr. Jen also holds an advanced certification in Activator Methods®. She is a member of EPIC Pediatrics, a chiropractic training program specializing in taking care of pediatric and special needs patients. Dr. Jen is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Pathways meetings are regularly held at Family Tree Chiropractic, allowing families in our community a place to meet and discuss the latest issue of Pathways magazine and other natural health topics.
Enjoying Family Time
Dr. Jen and Dr. Chris have four nephews who they try to spend as much time with as possible. Three are back in Michigan, where Dr. Jen is from originally. They enjoy going back to Michigan to visit their family. Dr. Jen also likes to read, hike, camp and go to our area beaches. We want to give you the information you need to make an educated decision about your health. Call us today to find out more!
